Shoaib Rashid
Shoaib joined DV solicitors in December 2018 as a legal secondee assisting in the Litigation Department.
Prior to joining DV solicitors, Shoaib was working in Mental Health Law undertaking work in relation to client’s detained under the Mental Health Act. This work included but not limited to submitting applications to the Mental Health Tribunal Service, undertaking preparation work and representing client’s at their hearings. Shoaib has vast experience in assisting clients who are detained under the Civil and Criminal Sections of the Mental Health Act. Shoaib is also a Law Society Accredited Panel Member enabling him to representing clients at their respected hearings.
Shoaib has previously worked in Clinical Negligence, which involved perusal of medical reports, pre action letters, instructing Counsel and attending court with positive compensatory outcomes for clients. In addition, Shoaib has also gained experience in Immigration assisting in the Asylum department.
Shoaib graduated from Hertfordshire University obtaining an LLB Honours and successfully completing his LPC at the College of Law.
In his spare time, Shoaib enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoys playing football. He is a keen supporter of Liverpool FC, Shoaib will never let you walk alone.
